Hull City owner Acun Ilicali has confirmed that multiple first-team players have expressed a desire to leave the club ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season. Speaking in an exclusive interview, the Turkish businessman acknowledged that the Tigers face an exodus after securing promotion back to the top flight.

Promotion Success Sparks Unrest

Hull stormed to second place in the Championship, winning four of their last five matches to seal automatic promotion. However, success on the pitch has created instability off it. Several key performers believe they have outgrown the club and are eyeing moves to established Premier League sides or European clubs.

Ilicali's admission comes just weeks after the club triggered a permanent deal option for Leeds United loanee Joe Gelhardt. The striker's 14 goals were instrumental in the promotion push, but his parent club may now demand a hefty fee or include a buy-back clause.
